Basic information

  • Description: The McGuinness family - Charles, Billy, Chris "Dodie," and Casey - opened Dodie's in November 1989. All of us, being from "The Big Easy," feel that Dodie's is a blend of Cajun and New Orleans cuisine. Our recipes come from Aunt Lou-Lou, Aunt Daisy, Aunt Susan and of course Mireille Lanusse McGuinness. Everything is prepared to order, so we know you will enjoy our family's cooking.

    • One walks into a beautiful space; natural woods (lacquered), chocolate colored booths and chair seats; a glassed in room to the right probably for private get-to-gethers or overflow crowds; a large bar area to the right (16-18 bar stools), booths and tables, separated by a three-foot wall with ornate iron scroll design from the dining area. Lots of booths along the perimeter and two-top tables along the inside wall and a large round booth at the back of the dining area which would probably seat 10-12 people. lovely; light, modern, airy and comfy, cozy atmosphere. Greeted by young hostess(es), so very glad to see you. (more)
