- Hallelujah, we've found a new "home"! Used to go regularly to a place in Deep Ellum, but when all the bartenders leave and you move across town, it just doesn't seem fun anymore. We went to San Francisco Rose on the 4th because we had nothing better to do after hubby got off work (yes, he had to work on the 4th - yuck). Love the flat screens everywhere (although I did feel a tad ADD trying to decide which one to focus on). When football starts up, this will be the place for me!! The food and drinks were wonderful, as was the service. The bartender even bought us a shot (not real happy about that later in the night, but at the moment it was great!) The tables behind us seemed to be getting great service as well by several waitresses. My favorite thing (and I know this is strange) was that it was well-lit by windows. So often, bars make me feel like I'm entering a cave, and I leave sleepy and depressed. Not here! We'll be back, San Fran Rose!
